Best. Compliment. Ever!!

Knocked off another item tonight:

#54. Make Homemade Pizza.

First, a little back story ... Josh's Grandmother passed away a few years back, but before she got sick I had the privileged of cooking along side her to learn how to create Josh's favorite dish, homemade pizza! I have tried & tried again to recreate it on my own && have failed miserably! So tonight I used what I learned && gave it a little twist and by gosh ... it paid off! His exact words were "that was different, but almost as good as my Nana's" ... VICTORY!!!!

The recipe for this scrumptious Buffalo Chicken Pizza is on the 'Faves' tab!

Sincerely,
Mrs. L

Spontaneous is my middle name!!

I'm not normally insanely spontaneous ... but Friday night seemed like the right time to start! After an intense study session I packed up & dragged Josh out to the woods for a night under the stars! Even though it wasn't technically our backyard ... I think its close enough to count:

#40. Lay in the backyard & stare at the stars.

So it was actually the in-laws backyard, but the stars were out so we figure this counts! We fired up a big bonfire, roasted hotdogs, made s'mores, && slept under the stars!

**More Photos Coming Soon**

Working on 'cooking up' another item to scratch off of our list tonight ... but first we have to go vote early to beat the lines!! Just in case you had any question ..

Another one down!!

Who knew knocking things off of our checklist would be OH so much fun!!  We have completed 3 tasks over the past few months...

#10.Take a walk on our street.
Boss LOVED this one! He sniffed & pee'd on every yard & drug us around like we were the ones being walked!

#13. Play a game of tennis.
We completed this one in Panama City with Jesse & Lacey! Couples tennis counts, right? No thanks to me we won!!

&& my favorite so far ...

#24. Run a 5k.
We spent the weekend in Nashville & ran the Warrior Dash, a 5k benefiting St. Judes Children's Hospital! The sweet hubs stayed with me the entire time as I ran (and mostly walked) && battled through 10+ insane obsticles! It was AWESOME ... and here are a few pics to prove it:

The clock is ticking ... so we promise more posts soon :)

Sincerely,
The Wife

Another Item Down

Knocking things off of this bucket list is WAY fun! Today we eliminated ...

#8. Take a shopping spree & buy each other something nice

I did the smart think and let Josh pick first. He chose some sweet new shoes for work!

Once Josh picked out his pricey kicks, it was my turn! && since clothes from my favorite store Forever21 aren't nearly as pricy as new Nikes ... My loot is MUCH larger :)

It was so nice to go shopping without a cause and just meander through the stores for a while. We even met family for lunch and then treated ourselves to a movie {Snow White & the Huntsmen is AWESOME}.

Days like today remind me how important it is to keep dating after marriage ... breaking out of the norm and doing something different {even something as simple as a shopping trip} bring us back to reality and remind us of how much we actually like each other :)

Sincerely,
Mrs. L

There is a new stylist in town

Checking things off the bucket list is turning out to be more fun that we thought!
We are quite proud of our progress & thought we would share pics of our most recently finished task!

#52. Give each other haircuts

Since I give Josh haircuts on a normal basis & have a full salon setup in the house, I thought this would be a breeze! I'll admit I was a bit scared - but he took it so serious and actually did a good job! The proof is in the photos :)

I still have hair && after styling it, it still looks good :)

Definitely not something I would recommend to just any couple, since I'm a trained professional I was able to walk him through it step by step!

Instead of Resolution - this year we have decided to create a 2012 Bucket lit ... a list of thing we would like to accomplish by the end of the year!

2012 Bucket List
- Be Debt Free

This will be an open ended list but hopefully it will give us something to work towards :)
